"Exceptional Service Long After the Return Period"
Shopping here for electrical supplies for an older house turned out to be a breeze, which isn’t always the case. The staff knew their stuff, were super helpful, and really put in the effort to track down the specific parts I was after. When my client had to cancel because they lost their job, the company still treated me right and accepted returns well beyond their usual 30-day policy. That level of understanding and customer care is rare these days. I’d definitely suggest giving them your business.

"Terrible Experience with Both Service and Items"
I bought some plates, but what I got didn’t match what was shown online. Sent them back without even opening the box, but still got hit with shipping fees both ways. On top of that, if I wanted replacement plates, I’d have to pay even more for shipping. It’s pretty clear how they profit—what I paid to send the plates back was only about half of what they originally charged me for shipping. Honestly, steer clear of this place. The stuff they sell isn’t any good either.

"Terrible experience with products and service"
I purchased some plates that didn’t match what was shown. I sent them back without opening the package, but they hit me with shipping fees both ways, plus I’d have to cover the cost for new plates. It’s clear how they profit since my return shipping was only half of what they charged me. Seriously, steer clear of this scam. The quality of the items is just bad.

"Terrible company selling trash products"
This company is a joke, selling nothing but junk. If you accidentally hit the wrong button, you might end up purchasing a $90 plate that’s really worth about $5. They play all sorts of games, dispute your credit card issues, and these clowns will have to handle it. I created a shopping cart, and now these scammers are bombarding me with emails five times a day.

"Customer Support Fabricates Stories"
I spent a grand on new push button switches and relays to fully upgrade my home’s low voltage system. Everything was professionally installed, including a fresh transverter, new wiring, and junction boxes—totaling about $9,000. The setup ran smoothly for nearly a month, but then one relay failed. After consulting with my trusted electricians and checking out Kyle’s FAQ, it was clear the relay was likely at fault, especially since all parts were brand new. Their website said to reach out to the manufacturer (Touch Plate) for what seemed like a defective relay, not just a simple return. Touch Plate, though, told me to go back to the seller. That’s when the back-and-forth began. I contacted Kyle Switch Plate and got a canned reply that basically parroted their FAQ, shifting blame to other system parts. I explained (with proof) that every component was newly installed and supplied by them, but they ignored me. Three days later, I filed a dispute with my credit card company due to their silence. Eleven days after that, they finally replied—again with the same generic message, this time suggesting I send the relay back so they could forward it to the manufacturer. All this hassle over a $60 relay, after I’d already spent over a thousand bucks with them. It’s just absurd. I let them know I’d already gotten my refund through the dispute and replaced the relay (same brand and model) from a different supplier. It’s been working perfectly for a month now, and I even installed it myself. Then, a week later, my credit card company tells me Kyle Switch Plate claimed I never reached out to them and that I was the one who dropped the ball—total nonsense. The only person I ever dealt with was Sara from their customer service, and she flat-out lied. I reopened the dispute and sent in proof: screenshots of their guarantee, the FAQ, and the email chain where Sara sent the same copy-paste response three times. Their whole system is set up to blame anything but their own products, making it nearly impossible for customers to get help if something goes wrong. It’s a sneaky way to dodge responsibility and keep selling you more parts. I went with professional installation and all new components from the same supplier so I’d be covered if anything failed, but Kyle Switch Plate was no help at all. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere. The worst part was all the time wasted proving to my credit card company that I deserved a refund for a $60 relay (plus $20 shipping) because Kyle Switch Plate didn’t respond, then lied about it. Sara really takes the cake. If you decide to buy from them, good luck—you’ll need it.

Totally with you—this spot is garbage. Their so-called customer service? Absolute joke, couldn’t be worse.

"Customer Service is Deceptive"
I placed an order for $1000 worth of new push button switches and relays to completely overhaul my low voltage system at home. Along with a brand new transverter from the electrical company, I had new wiring, junction boxes, and everything else professionally installed, totaling around $9000. The system functioned well for nearly a month until one of the relays failed. After consulting with the electricians (who are the best in my area), I checked out Kyle’s FAQ. A few of the Q/As suggested that the relay was likely the issue, especially since everything was brand new. I found on their site that I should reach out to the Manufacturer (Touch Plate) because it seemed like a faulty relay, not just a simple return. However, Touch Plate told me the opposite, insisting I go through them. That’s when the runaround began. I messaged Kyle Switch Plate, and they sent me a generic reply that seemed like it was just copied from the FAQ, essentially blaming the other components in my system. I responded, providing proof that all components were professionally replaced and sourced from them, but I was completely ignored. Three days later, I disputed the charge with my credit card company due to their lack of response. Then, 11 days later, they replied with the same generic message AGAIN, this time adding that I should send it back to them so they could forward it to the Manufacturer. It’s ridiculous to jump through so many hoops for a $60 relay after spending over $1000 with them. I told them I had already disputed the charge, got my refund, and replaced the relay (same brand and model) from another supplier, which is working perfectly. A month later, no issues, and I installed it myself! Then, a week later, I received an email from my credit card company stating that Kyle Design (Kyle Switch Plate) claimed I never reached out to them. They contacted me three times, and I supposedly dropped the ball. This is a blatant lie from the customer service rep, Sara, who was the only one I ever dealt with. I re-disputed the charge and sent evidence of what their website stated in the guarantee section and their own FAQ, along with the email chain where she replied with the same generic statement three times. They seem to blame everything but their parts, shifting the liability onto the consumer no matter what the issue is. It’s a clever but shady tactic, and I’ve come to expect this from them. Their FAQ appears to be designed to sell parts piece by piece, and if you dare to point fingers at their components, they’ll just deflect and likely try to sell you more. Not knowing much about residential low voltage systems when I started this journey is why I opted for professional installation, ensuring all components were from the same supplier. I thought that would give me some backup in case of early failures. Well, forget about Kyle. Look elsewhere. You’d think they’d appreciate my business, but companies like this just want to squeeze every dollar they can from you and then disappear. The worst part is the time I wasted proving to my credit card company that I deserved my $60 back, plus $80 for shipping, because they failed to respond and when they finally did, didn’t bother to explain their return process until almost two weeks later after I filed a dispute. Then they lied about me not contacting them. Sara is something else. Good luck if you decide to go with these folks.
